MACE: Out of the Body Experience Pt. 2
The visuals were conceived as an immersion into infinite mathematical architectures. Using Mandelbulb 3D, I generated a fractal ecosystem that evolves organically, creating a sense of depth and complexity.

Concept
Colour as behaviour, not as material. The visitor does not look at an image: they enter a black room where a feedback lattice reads presence density and turns it into saturation drift. The opening question is simple: what if the spectator were a system parameter, not an external observer?
Realization
From Math to 4K Cinema
Transitioning from mathematical generation to a cinematic render for the Forum's massive LED screens required an advanced post-production pipeline, handled entirely in Nuke :
Generation: The base sequence was rendered at 1080p @ 30 fps.
De-flickering: I implemented a specialized logic to eliminate flickering artifacts common in complex fractal animations, ensuring a perfectly stable visual flow.
Upscaling & Interpolation: Using Optical Flow (Kronos) algorithms, the visuals were upscaled to 4K resolution and the frame rate was increased to 60 fps to ensure extreme clarity and fluid motion on a stadium scale.
Post-Production: Final color grading and lighting refinement were executed to maximize impact during the live set, supporting performances by guest artists such as Salmo, Colapesce, Marco Castello, and eleA.
